Awareness & Outreach
We believe that awareness and education on topics related to Title IX can help create a culture of respect both on campus and in our community.
Education and Training Opportunities
- Students (incoming freshman and transfer students) are required to take online Sexual Assault Prevention training, which includes primary prevention, bystander intervention, and risk reduction strategies.
- Faculty and staff are required to take similar online training at hire and every two years.
- Title IX Staff are required to take specialized training.
- If you or your department would like specific training related to Title IX, sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking, please contact the Title IX Coordinator.
Outreach and Awareness
- The LSCPA Title IX Website provides faculty, staff, and student with information related to Title IX, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
- Every semester, students are emailed contact information for LSCPA's Title IX Coordinator and Title IX Staff.
- LSCPA periodically conducts a campus climate survey to measure student attitudes about sexual violence and awareness of resources.
