Steps to Become a Seahawk

Choose the student category below that best fits you and provide the necessary documents for enrollment.

  1. Complete an Admissions application applytexas.org
  1. Submit Your Official Transcripts 
    • All high school transcripts must be official with graduation date. 
    • Send Official Transcripts to:
      Admissions & Records

    • Electronic transcripts from your high school or college may be submitted via TRex, Parchment, E-Scripts, National Student Clearinghouse, or Scribbles. 
  1. Submit Your Bacterial Meningitis shot record using the Admissions Document Submission Form
    • Students under the age of 22 are required to submit a bacterial meningitis shot record. Learn more about Bacterial Meningitis vaccine requirements. 
    • Unable to take the shot? Apply for the Bacterial Meningitis exemption waiver 
  1. Submit a copy of your valid Driver’s License or State ID using the Admissions Document Submission Form
  2. Submit Your Test Scores 
    • High school students: Submit your official SAT, ACT, and TSI scores or exemptions. Review test score requirements and register to take the TSI.  
    • Transfer and Transient students: No test scores are required if you passed both college level English and Math classes. Admissions will verify using your official college transcript.

    • Section A: Must be completed and signed by the student.  
    • Section B: Must be completed and signed by your advisor at your home institution. 
    • Section C: Must be completed and signed by the Registrar at your home institution.

    • Students applying for admission who have attended a high school, college, or university outside the U.S. must have official transcripts translated and evaluated for authentication from a recognized United States evaluation company.

  2. Submit proof of English language proficiency using the LSCPA International Student Document Submission Form
  3. Complete and return the Financial Support Form and Financial Statement using the LSCPA International Student Document Submission Form
  4. Complete and return the International Student FERPA Release form using the LSCPA International Student Document Submission Form
  5. Complete and return the Maintaining Your F-1 Status Form using the LSCPA International Student Document Submission Form
