Sexual Assault Awareness Month
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Please take time this month to learn about sexual assault prevention and supporting
victims of sexual assault by participating in the activities available at LSCPA and
online.
The theme for SAAM 2023 is Drawing Connections: Prevention Demands Equity.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) calls attention to the fact that sexual violence
is widespread and impacts every person in the community. SAAM aims to raise public
awareness about sexual violence and educate communities about how to prevent it.
