International Students
LSCPA is now admitting eligible students on an F-1 visa to degree-seeking programs. If you wish to attend Lamar State College Port Arthur on an F-1 visa, please complete the steps on the International Student Admissions Checklist which includes:
- Apply for admissions (www.goapplytexas.org)
- Submit all official transcripts
- Provide proof of English language proficiency
- Complete and return the Financial Support Form and Financial Statement
- Submit a valid passport
- Complete and return the International Student FERPA Release form
- Complete and return the Maintaining Your F-1 Status Form

You must have your LSCPA-approved medical insurance in place and all of your previous transcripts submitted to your International Student Advisor before you can register for classes. You must also see an adviser about assessment testing.

Tuition & Fees
International students are charged Non-Texas tuition and fees. The cost of international health insurance is also billed to the student. International health insurance ranges from $950-$1,050 for Fall/Spring semesters and $500-$600 for summer semester.
