Payment Methods
Lamar State College Port Arthur has several payment methods for students to pay tuition and fees.
Lamar State College Port Arthur reserves the right to change fees in keeping with acts of the Texas Legislature and The Texas State University System Board of Regents.

Pay in person at the Business Office located on the corner of Stillwell Blvd. and Procter Street. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Lamar State College Port Arthur. Credit/debit card payments are also accepted in person at the Business Office. Payments may be mailed to:

Guest payments are payments made by someone other than the student, such as a parent/guardian, spouse, etc.) You must add an authorized user in order for a guest to make a payment on your behalf.
Online payments may be made by credit or debit card using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express.
Students may use federal (FAFSA) or state (TASFA) financial aid to pay tuition fees. Please complete a financial aid application to see what aid you may be awarded.
Students may receive scholarships from the college or outside sources. Students may be offered scholarships for one semester, one year, two years, or four years. Students must have at least a 2.5 high school or college GPA and enroll in at least 6 credit hours to be eligible for scholarships.
Installment plans allows students to pay a 50% down payment and split the remaining balance into two (2) equal payments.
Lamar State College Port Arthur provides short-term loans for students waiting on financial aid, or unable to pay all of the down payment required for the installment plan. The Short-term loans are for 60 days and designated to pay tuition and fees during registration and must be repaid within the semester in which the loan is made. Students withdrawing from the college remain responsible for the repayment of the short-term loan. Please contact the Business Office for more information. Complete both forms to be considered for a short-term loan.
Lamar State College Port Arthur supports Veterans and their eligible spouses/dependents through the Financial Aid Office. The Office assists Veterans and qualifying family members attending Lamar State College Port Arthur by answering questions concerning Federal Benefits (GI Bill®) and State Benefits (Hazlewood). The Office certifies enrollments for the Department of Veterans Affairs, awards Hazlewood benefits, and monitors the degree plans an academic progress of veterans, their spouses, and their dependents.
Refunds
LSCPA processes refunds via direct deposit. Refunds are processed by the Business Office on Tuesdays. Once the refund is released, the business office will send you an e-mail to your student e-mail account. Typically, it takes 3-5 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.
If you do not have a direct deposit set up, refunds are mailed out via paper check. The paper check could take up to 10-15 days. Students will be called and e-mailed to pick up checks and to verify mailing address.

- Click on My Services.
- It will land on your profile page. DO NOT CLICK ON DIRECT DEPOSIT ON THIS PAGE.
- Click on the Four Boxes in the corner next to the LSCPA logo. This is the drop down menu. Select Banner and then Select Student.
- Student Services Page is revealed. Click on Student Payment Center.
- Click Refund Account Setup.
- Click “Set up a new account”
- Complete the requested information and click “Continue.” Your banking information will be validated and confirmed.

Yes, you may modify your refund preference online any time at by clicking the settings link on the “Refunds” page. This will require you to follow the two step verification you set up originally.
*Please ensure that you have a current and valid US mailing address on file with Admission and Records. You can review your personal contact information through your MyLamarPA account. This is to ensure proper distribution of funds.
