Breaux named new Allied Health Chair
Lamar State College Port Arthur is pleased to announce Heather Breaux, MSN, RN, as the new Chair of the Allied Health Department. With over 20 years of experience in nursing, Heather brings a wealth of clinical expertise and educational leadership to her new role, poised to shape the future of healthcare education at the college.
As a seasoned nurse educator and healthcare professional, Heather has a diverse background in various healthcare settings that demand strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and compassionate patient care. Her extensive experience, coupled with her Master’s in Nursing Education, uniquely positions her to provide leadership that fosters academic growth and ensures the highest standards of healthcare training.

Outside of her professional commitments, Heather is a devoted wife and mother. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her husband and their son.
