WEATHER UPDATE: LSCPA Port Arthur campus closing at 2 p.m.

Due to the impending inclement weather coming from the west, Lamar State College Port Arthur's campus in Port Arthur will close at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 13.

The weather, which is expected to include heavy rains and potential hail, is predicted to arrive in Chambers County at about 3 p.m.

The campus will reopen for its regular business hours on Tuesday, May 14.

Any additional updates can be found on the college's social media account and in local media outlets and will be distributed through campus email and text messaging.
