Mission Statement

The mission of the Student Government Association (SGA) of Lamar State College Port Arthur is to serve as a dedicated advocate for the student body and facilitate effective communication among students, faculty, staff, and administration.

Purpose and Goals

The purpose of the Student Government Association (SGA) at Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA) is to represent, lead, and unify the student body, enhancing campus life and experiences. The SGA prioritizes responsiveness to student concerns, advocates for student rights, and upholds integrity in promoting the institution's image. Additionally, the SGA provides avenues for leadership development and personal growth within the LSCPA community.
